Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, test, and maintain software solutions and scalable data pipelines.
  • Develop ETL workflows and data architectures using Big Data, Spark, AWS, and SQL.
  • Support enterprise analytics use cases through performance optimization, reliability, maintainability, and operational stability.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software code meets design constraints.
  • Analyze large and diverse datasets and develop visualizations and reporting for continuous improvement.
  • Use, validate, and help improve enterprise-authorized AI-assisted coding and automation tools in accordance with secure and responsible AI practices.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 7+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Big Data, Spark, AWS, SQL, distributed data processing, system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database query languages.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across agile teams and stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Exposure to Databricks and other cloud technologies is preferred.
