Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions.
- Develop workflows and ETL data pipelines using Big Data technologies, Spark, and AWS.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data architectures for enterprise analytics use cases.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementations meet design constraints.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets and develop visualizations and reporting to improve software applications and systems.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating their outputs.
- Identify data patterns and system issues and use insights to improve coding practices and system architecture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 7+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with Big Data, Spark, AWS, and SQL.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud platforms and distributed data processing.
- Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database-querying languages.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile team collaboration.
- Preferred familiarity with Databricks and exposure to cloud technologies.
