Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions and production code.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software meets design constraints.
- Use authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while validating their outputs.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets and create visualizations and reports to improve software applications and systems.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding practices and system architecture.
- Guide peers on responsible, secure, and effective use of AI-assisted engineering tools.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database query languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and solid understanding of agile methodologies, continuous integration and delivery, application resiliency, and security.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies preferred.
