Responsibilities
- Build and deliver complex event-based, distributed software products.
- Develop cloud-native SaaS product features using C# .NET and AWS services.
- Implement messaging-based systems, with RabbitMQ preferred.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, DevOps, and fellow engineers in small Agile/Scrum teams.
- Integrate third-party security authentication services and support application monitoring.
- Explain complex technical topics clearly and contribute creative problem-solving.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience building and delivering event-based, distributed software products.
- At least 3 years of experience building SaaS products in an AWS cloud environment.
- Proficiency with AWS web services including ECS, S3, EventBridge, Lambda, Step Functions, Route 53, RDS PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, and Glue.
- Proficiency with C# and .NET 8.
- Experience with messaging systems; RabbitMQ is preferred.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience integrating third-party security authentication services, with Auth0 a plus.
- Experience building generative AI features and using Amazon Bedrock is a plus.
- Experience with IDE security plug-ins such as Snyk.
- Experience with application monitoring platforms such as Instana, New Relic, or Datadog is preferred.
- Clinical, bioinformatics, or other health sciences experience is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication, collaborative problem-solving, and willingness to learn are required.
