Base Salary
$92k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Decompose system architecture requirements and develop test procedures and objectives to verify those requirements.
- Create and execute automated and manual test plans, including patch testing and system release testing.
- Document actual test results against expected results and maintain test scripts and procedures.
- Perform systems requirements, functional, timeline, allocation, and interface analyses.
- Review test products and documentation, participate in peer reviews, and improve system test capabilities.
- Coordinate with NASA customers, users, systems engineers, software engineers, and external partners.
- Perform technical management, integration, troubleshooting, and process-improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree with 2 to 5 years of general experience.
- Preferred education includes computer science, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, astronautics, physics, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience with scripting and/or automation and the software development life cycle.
- Strong understanding of Linux, Java, C#, Windows, and Windows applications.
- Experience or familiarity with Python, Git, test documentation, requirements verification methodologies, software testing, and ServiceNow is desired.
- Strong analytical, communication, coordination, teamwork, problem-solving, organization, and deadline-management skills.
- Understanding of orbital mechanics and leadership skills are desirable.
- Must be able to obtain a NASA Personal Identity Verification badge and work independently with minimal supervision.
