Base Salary
$76k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Document assigned business requirements and facilitate software application design discussions.
- Develop, integrate, modify, and review mainframe application code and maintain code repositories.
- Implement test strategies, analyze results, coordinate bug fixes, and support software quality.
- Resolve production issues and recommend performance, reliability, and system optimization improvements.
- Develop user training, documentation, support frameworks, and detailed technical knowledge-base records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support end-to-end software lifecycle activities.
Requirements
- Experience with mainframe technologies and software design and development using COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and project lifecycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
- Preferred experience troubleshooting production issues, tuning performance, and optimizing systems.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work across diverse stakeholder environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive specialty experience in lieu of each year of education.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without current or future employer-based visa sponsorship.
