Responsibilities
- Develop scalable backend solutions, APIs, and services for a payments platform supporting international money transfers and remittances.
- Design secure, traceable, and consistent transaction systems integrating multiple channels, partners, systems, and providers.
- Monitor product health and operational indicators, prevent and resolve incidents, and improve system performance.
- Contribute to the modernization of the platform and the evolution of its technical roadmap with multidisciplinary teams.
- Share technical knowledge and propose continuous improvements to development standards.
Requirements
- Experience as a backend software engineer, preferably using Go, designing and developing APIs and scalable services.
- Experience translating business needs into robust technical solutions, estimating scope, and planning execution with Product and Technology teams.
- Experience working with high-impact transactional applications and integrations with multiple systems and providers.
- Strong knowledge of system design, data persistence, and event processing, with emphasis on consistency, traceability, and resilience.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and incident resolution using metrics, logs, and alerts through tools such as Datadog or New Relic.
