GE Vernova Engineering Internship - 2027- Summer/Fall
GE VernovaResponsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated product test suites using Python, Robot Framework, LabVIEW, and related tools.
- Create and configure test environments and assemble hardware configurations for test automation.
- Expand engineering test plans into comprehensive test cases and execute them against product requirements.
- Report product defects and track work activities using Jira or other systems.
- Read engineering specifications, estimate implementation and issue-resolution work, and report progress to project management.
- Receive technical training and mentorship while completing an engineering and technology project assignment.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent software-related field.
- Currently enrolled full time in a nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program and have completed at least two full years of college.
- Must be able to work in the specified geographic area and in the United States for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA without rounding.
- Experience or familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks; Robot Framework; Linux; Python scripting; basic networking; and version control or CI/CD tools such as Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong analytical, collaboration, communication, organizational, prioritization, time-management, and self-motivation skills.
