Base Salary
$192k - $264k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead ambiguous and technically complex work through technical implementation, design documentation, mentorship, and direction-setting without relying on formal authority.
- Design and deliver new MSK care programs, including differentiated features and workflows.
- Improve the reliability, performance, quality, and scalability of newly launched programs.
- Extend shared services using the existing NestJS backend, React Native app, and PostgreSQL database.
- Partner with Product to translate program strategy into scalable technical plans and communicate trade-offs.
- Coordinate with engineers across partner teams to deliver cohesive member experiences.
- Champion CI/CD, testing, monitoring, code review, mentorship, and strong engineering standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship, full-time professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience with TypeScript/JavaScript across the stack, including Node.js/NestJS on the backend and React or React Native on the frontend.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and containerization tools.
- 2+ years of experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, distributed systems, and microservices architectures.
- 2+ years of experience mentoring or leading engineers and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
- Direct NestJS experience and mobile application development experience are preferred.
- Experience delivering products or features requiring ongoing coordination across multiple engineering teams is preferred.
- Healthcare, HIPAA, or other highly regulated-environment experience involving sensitive member data is preferred.
- A high-influence Staff-level individual-contributor track record is preferred.
