Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital transformation strategies aligned with Commercial Card business objectives.
- Design, develop, and deploy AWS-based ETL, database, BI, and enterprise application integrations.
- Own assigned user stories and features end to end, from development through deployment.
- Design application modules and high-level and low-level technical solutions.
- Analyze systems and develop code enabling communication among IT systems, users, and application components.
- Define, promote, and enforce architecture frameworks, principles, standards, and technology guidelines.
- Oversee digital tools and platform selection for scalability, security, and performance.
- Facilitate cross-functional integration of digital technologies and translate customer feedback into engineering work.
- Present technical concepts to internal audiences and communicate with business and customer stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor engineers while supporting a culture of autonomy, ownership, and innovation.
- Apply AI-assisted tools across code generation, refactoring, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Review, secure, and optimize AI-generated backend and frontend code.
Requirements
- 6–12 years of experience with AWS Glue, Python, Spark, ETL, databases/SQL, and BI technologies.
- Proficiency with AWS Glue, Python, Spark, PostgreSQL, Amazon S3, AWS DMS, AWS Transfer Family, Amazon QuickSight, Linux, and BI development.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, RDS, Redshift, SQL Server, SQL performance tuning, and database design/modeling.
- Experience with Cognos, Tableau, and Amazon QuickSight for BI and data visualization.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, ETL, database, and BI development concepts.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot for ETL, Python, and AWS Glue.
- Experience with data interfaces, data security, data quality, algorithms, and databases.
- Experience designing scalable architectures and migrating applications to the cloud.
- Understanding of SAML authentication, SSO, encryption and decryption, data masking, tokenization, and certificates.
- Understanding of Android and iOS application management, signing, distribution, and publishing on Google Play Store and Apple Store.
- Knowledge of Splunk monitoring, alerts, and dashboards.
- Understanding of user security concepts, roles and entitlements, segregation of duties, and Maker-Checker implementations.
- AWS experience and certification are required.
- Experience with Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and cross-functional stakeholder communication.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate high-performing engineering teams.
