Responsibilities
- Build machine learning infrastructure covering feature engineering, model training, versioning, deployment, online serving and evaluation, and prediction-quality monitoring.
- Identify and generate reusable features for multiple use cases and models.
- Train and evaluate batch and real-time machine learning models for ad relevance, demographic inference, yield optimization, and related performance objectives.
- Perform low-level systems debugging, performance measurement, and optimization on large production clusters.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver machine learning solutions.
- Continue learning and adapting to emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of total experience and experience applying machine learning to real-world use cases.
- Strong coding and software development skills in Spark, Python, and Java.
- Familiarity with low-latency real-time model evaluation.
- Familiarity with distributed machine learning frameworks such as Spark MLlib and TensorFlow.
- Experience with large-scale computing frameworks, data analysis systems, and modeling environments such as Spark, Hive, Aerospike, and ScyllaDB.
- Ad tech experience is preferred, and AI literacy or an AI growth mindset is valued.
