Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive technical strategy and architectural goals for critical network product ordering and platform engineering systems.
- Lead complex cross-functional projects from initial design through launch while ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery.
- Mentor and guide engineers and promote high-quality software development and innovation.
- Collaborate with product managers, program managers, and engineering teams to define requirements and influence the technical roadmap.
- Solve problems involving large-scale distributed systems, big data processing, and data repositories.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- At least 8 years of experience with Java, C, C++, Python, or another general-purpose programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and launching software products.
- At least 5 years of experience building large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or large-scale database systems.
- At least 5 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred qualifications include 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 years of technical leadership experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
