Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, support, and maintain production infrastructure and cloud operations on Microsoft Azure.
- Automate standard operating procedures, failure recovery scenarios, infrastructure provisioning, and operational tasks.
- Create and maintain architecture documents, operational handbooks, and runbooks.
- Build and improve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Collaborate on Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, testing, and continuous delivery.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, coordinate incident resolution, and minimize business impact.
- Plan and lead reliable, secure, scalable, highly available, and disaster-resilient cloud deployments.
- Develop proof-of-concept implementations and share technical knowledge across cross-functional teams.
- Apply ITIL-based Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience engineering modern cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on automation and CI/CD in Microsoft Azure.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field is listed as a nice-to-have qualification.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services including Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, VNets, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and DNS.
- Strong knowledge of Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD.
- Solid Linux administration experience; Windows Server knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong scripting ability in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Practical understanding of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Excellent networking knowledge, including firewalls, VPNs, routing, and packet inspection.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Application Insights is a plus.
- Proactive approach and willingness to learn and adapt to emerging Azure technologies.
