Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve reusable backend capabilities and services using .NET and C#.
- Create reference implementations, libraries, templates, and APIs for product-team adoption.
- Define engineering standards for API design, security, observability, testing, resilience, and lifecycle management.
- Work with product teams to understand use cases, simplify onboarding, and improve developer experience.
- Bridge product-team needs with shared infrastructure and enterprise platform services while resolving technical dependencies and integrations.
- Contribute to CI/CD frameworks, automation, monitoring, supportability, and operational readiness.
- Document platform setups and patterns, share knowledge, and help engineers use shared capabilities confidently.
- Use operational and delivery measures to guide platform improvements.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience in backend engineering with C# and modern .NET.
- Experience designing and building secure, reliable, and maintainable APIs, services, and system integrations.
- Understanding of cloud-native development, containers, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and production operations.
- Ability to turn complex engineering challenges into reusable solutions, standards, and practical guidance.
- Effective communication and collaboration with engineers, platform colleagues, architects, product teams, and stakeholders.
- Motivation to enable other teams while preserving appropriate autonomy and ownership.
- Curiosity, sound judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Experience with internal developer platforms, shared libraries, engineering frameworks, or self-service capabilities is a plus.
- Experience with Azure services, Kubernetes, API management, identity and access, or infrastructure as code is a plus.
- Experience coaching engineers, facilitating technical decisions, or driving adoption across multiple teams is a plus.
