Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and manage automated tests covering front-end and back-end applications.
- Execute functional automated and manual tests to validate application software against user needs.
- Perform non-functional testing and contribute to testing and quality assurance activities.
- Improve testing processes and work within a continuous integration environment.
- Test APIs, microservices, and databases using SQL where required.
- Produce assurance artifacts such as test plans, reports, and metrics.
- Work collaboratively in a multi-skilled team and communicate technical details to non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to learn new business domains or architectures quickly and provide an excellent client experience.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences.
- Experience creating and managing automated tests using Selenium, Cypress, or REST Assured.
- Experience with cloud architecture and working as part of an agile team.
- Experience in a continuous integration environment using Jenkins and/or TeamCity.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Understanding of fundamental testing and quality assurance concepts, with demonstrable experience improving testing processes.
- Knowledge or experience in at least one type of non-functional testing.
- Desirable: experience with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs, assurance artifacts, API testing, microservices, database testing, and SQL.
