Responsibilities
- Drive quality assurance for business features from technical handoff through successful production release.
- Review specifications and create test plans, comprehensive test cases, and checklists.
- Estimate testing work and meet committed deadlines.
- Conduct functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, cross-browser, responsive, and end-to-end API testing.
- Contribute to web test automation and review test documentation and test code when applicable.
- Collaborate with Product, Front-End, Back-End, and Architecture teams throughout development.
- Validate builds, conduct smoke and regression checks, and monitor live production errors and performance.
- Track and improve QA metrics, including escaped defect rate and test coverage.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of QA methodology, test design, and the overall testing process.
- Understanding of web technologies and client-server architecture, including HTTP/HTTPS, REST, DOM, cookies, cache, and local storage.
- Experience with cross-browser and responsive testing using Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and mobile viewports.
- Experience with DevTools and debugging proxies such as Proxyman, Charles, or Fiddler.
- API testing experience with Postman, REST or GraphQL, and test data.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Allure TestOps or a similar tool, and Git.
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium and basic JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python scripting is a bonus.
- Fluent Russian and good English are required.
