Responsibilities
- Support the Network Tools & Automation team’s development and deployment of IP and optical network automation standards.
- Create code artifacts supporting audit and remediation activities.
- Provide scripting support to retrieve and process data from internal or external systems.
- Evaluate new software designs supporting the network.
- Participate in professional development, networking, mentorship, community service, cross-functional projects, and final presentations.
Requirements
- Be a rising senior graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Maintain a current-program GPA of at least 3.0.
- Be able to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities.
- Be authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
- Preferred qualifications include Python, basic IP networking, Git, and AI use for development and documentation.
