Responsibilities
- Become an expert on Teleport’s scalability, performance, and reliability in large deployments.
- Design, develop, and ship high-quality products.
- Write most of the code in Go.
- Collaborate with other Teleport teams on scalability and performance.
- Work directly with customers to diagnose and remediate performance issues.
- Contribute across the full product lifecycle, including customer discovery, design proposals, implementation, testing, and documentation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Go.
- Extensive experience developing scalable, reliable, and performant distributed systems and platforms.
- Experience with Linux systems engineering.
- Knowledge of identity management, RBAC, ABAC, and zero-trust security models.
- Builder mentality and experience developing zero-to-one products.
- Willingness to complete a collaborative Go coding challenge during the interview process.
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to master new technologies.
- Significant open-source contributions are preferred.
