Base Salary
$174k - $247k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the vision, design, and development of new mobile feature capabilities.
- Chart the mobile app architecture roadmap across Android and iOS with support from individual platform teams.
- Lead implementation and establish best practices in modern mobile development.
- Collaborate with backend engineering teams to set technical direction and priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent delivery.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and share technical expertise with the team.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.
- 8+ years of experience developing modern mobile applications.
- Experience setting technical direction for a team of engineers.
- Preferred experience with both Android and iOS frameworks.
- Preferred experience working across multiple development teams.
- Strong communication skills, especially for design documentation, are preferred.
- Passion for developer UX and high empathy for users are preferred.
