Responsibilities
- Build and test AI products by writing clean code, creating prototypes, and validating work with unit tests.
- Analyze datasets and translate findings into clear recommendations.
- Collaborate in an agile squad, including participating in standups and brainstorming technical solutions.
- Use Confluence and Jira for team collaboration.
- Document systems, support deployments, and assist with production handoffs.
- Research new approaches and opportunities and incorporate them into solution designs.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide estimates and status reports.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in artificial intelligence, software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Available to work full-time, 35 hours per week, during the Winter 2027 term from January through April.
- Must be an active student during the internship and/or returning to school in Summer or Fall 2027.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada; no Canadian work experience is required.
- Quebec-based candidates must be bilingual because they will regularly interact with English-speaking colleagues.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, Python, development design patterns, AWS, generative AI, and agentic AI.
