Responsibilities
- Enrich context graphs with entity types such as data streams, metrics, and observability signals and link them to code.
- Build and scale code graphs across monorepos and microrepos, including symbols, call edges, dependencies, tests, incremental updates, historical versions, and function-level embeddings.
- Extend AI-generated documentation across backend services, mobile interfaces, libraries, and data pipelines.
- Design agentic memory for persisting and reusing decisions, fixes, and team preferences across sessions.
- Define and deploy standards for agent instruction files such as AGENTS.md and generate them across modules.
- Build continuous context-quality evaluations and A/B experiments measuring agent outcomes.
- Build MCP servers, skills, and tools and integrate context products into production agent workflows.
- Drive design reviews, mentor engineers, and lead end-to-end delivery of foundational platform components.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience building production systems.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong programming ability in Go, Java, or Python with clean, tested, maintainable code.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs and agents, including prompt and context design, tool use, and retrieval.
- Experience with static analysis, ASTs, parsers such as tree-sitter, or build and dependency systems in large codebases.
- Experience building reliable data pipelines and working with graph or other large-scale data stores.
- Familiarity with MCP and agent-to-agent protocols.
- Strong analytical skills and a focus on measuring outcomes.
- Preferred experience with Neo4j or similar graph databases, embeddings, vector databases, retrieval pipelines, LLM evaluations, LLM-as-judge methods, A/B experiments, developer tooling, CI, monorepo infrastructure, Prometheus, Grafana, or Langfuse.
