Responsibilities
- Build robust, secure, and scalable backend microservices for JioStar applications.
- Develop clean, efficient, maintainable code; write unit tests and participate in code reviews.
- Design data storage, indexing, and messaging solutions while supporting sub-second server response times.
- Own the operation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
- Evaluate technologies and contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver software aligned with business objectives.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python.
- Experience building distributed, domain-driven microservices.
- Strong understanding of database and storage fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, messaging systems such as Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Large-scale production systems experience with a focus on performance and reliability is preferred.
- Ability to translate ambiguous product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
