Base Salary
$90k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform vulnerability research and reverse engineering for customer tasks.
- Conduct static and dynamic analysis using disassemblers, debuggers, and fuzzers.
- Develop exploits based on discovered vulnerabilities.
- Communicate security research findings internally and, when appropriate, externally.
- Mentor fellow security researchers.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance; only US Citizens are eligible for security clearances.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or four years of hands-on experience in a software engineering or similar full-time position.
- Experience participating in CTFs, hackathons, or other cyber competitions.
- Experience with Ghidra, Binary Ninja, IDA, or other reverse-engineering and disassembler tools.
- Experience with Linux fundamentals, including sockets, file descriptors, networking, iptables, file systems, and the kernel.
- Ability to read and write C and assembly languages, including ARM, MIPS, and x86_64.
- Programming fundamentals involving networking, data structures, and data models.
- Understanding of exploitation techniques including arbitrary read-write primitives, shellcoding, return-oriented programming, and jump-oriented programming.
- Proven experience creating exploits targeting Android operating systems and Chrome web browsers.
- Preferred: current Top Secret clearance, OS and kernel reverse engineering, AFL++ or libFuzzer, SELinux, Seccomp, ASLR, CFI, gdb/gdbserver, processor tool chains, Android NDK, QEMU, Unicorn, and identifying zero-days and vulnerabilities.
