Responsibilities
- Build and scale backend infrastructure for Doppel’s AI-native social engineering defense platform.
- Operate self-hosted Elasticsearch infrastructure on Kubernetes for real-time search across millions of alerts and associated metadata.
- Define core infrastructure with Terraform to create reproducible, version-controlled environments.
- Maintain staging environments and support automated integration testing before production releases.
- Improve observability through metrics, logging, and distributed tracing to support debugging and reliability at scale.
- Help scale the engineering organization and improve onboarding and release processes.
Requirements
- Experienced backend engineering background with demonstrated ability to build and scale infrastructure.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, and Terraform is relevant to the described infrastructure work.
- Ability to improve system reliability, observability, release safety, and engineering velocity.
