Responsibilities

  • Drive high-impact projects and develop solutions that improve the airport user experience.
  • Lead large features from ideation through execution and launch.
  • Write well-tested, readable, maintainable code.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge.
  • Participate in the team on-call rotation and identify, triage, debug, and resolve issues across applications and platforms.
  • Explain technical tradeoffs and manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with teams across Lyft and manage real-time communication and integrations with airports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–5+ years of software engineering or production infrastructure industry experience.
  • Experience with Python and Go.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Side projects or open-source project experience is a bonus.
