Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications using React, Next.js, and .NET.
- Design and implement new features and resolve complex technical issues.
- Use Docker for containerization and deploy applications on Azure.
- Collaborate with distributed developers and quality assurance, project management, and product management teams.
- Conduct peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Perform unit testing and integration testing automation as a shared responsibility.
- Document and maintain software applications and technical decisions.
- Participate in project planning and provide development estimates.
- Mentor and coach junior software engineers.
- Ensure code meets performance, security, scalability, and quality standards.
- Stay current with technologies and propose and implement innovative solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience, with the original qualifications section specifying 6+ years of full-stack software design and development experience.
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, and .NET, including C#, ASP.NET, and TypeScript.
- Proficiency with Docker containerization and Azure deployment.
- Experience with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps, or Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, object-oriented design, and scalable, maintainable code.
- Expertise with unit and integration testing of code.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent-work skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements, learn new technologies, and manage multiple tasks.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and a commitment to continuous improvement.
