Responsibilities
- Build and maintain iOS features and applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
- Contribute to mobile architecture and design decisions and build reusable components and intuitive interfaces.
- Break down complex features into focused work units, estimate release schedules, and deliver features with the team.
- Collaborate through pair programming, code reviews, design reviews, and cross-team engineering work.
- Advocate for accessibility and build interfaces accessible to users with disabilities.
- Contribute to testing strategy, software engineering best practices, privacy, security, performance, and application quality.
- Participate in weekly Mobile Team learning sessions and help drive adoption of engineering standards.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience as an iOS Engineer.
- Experience building complex user interfaces and a strong knowledge of Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
- Experience designing mobile applications that consume RESTful APIs and understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and caching strategies.
- Experience with source control systems such as GitHub.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, mobile design patterns, reactive design patterns, and APIs.
- Understanding of multithreading/asynchronous programming, memory management, networking, caching, performance optimization, localization, and mobile security.
- Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, test-driven development, static analysis, and automated integration tests.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and modern build strategies.
- Strong verbal, written communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and UI/UX development skills.
- Experience vetting and integrating third-party vendor libraries is a plus.
- Interest in prompt engineering, emerging AI applications, and AI-powered automation in software development.
