Base Salary

$122k - $204k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain C/C++ and Python software for radar and RF data acquisition, processing, analysis, automation, and test support.
  • Develop and maintain embedded software for fielded systems and legacy codebases, including data ingestion, calibration, and visualization.
  • Integrate software with laboratory and field instrumentation across Windows and Linux using interfaces such as USB, TCP/IP, and serial connections.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, test engineers, and program managers to translate requirements into testable software solutions.
  • Produce technical documentation, test plans, and user guides.
  • Support laboratory, shipboard, and field test campaigns as needed.
  • Follow security and programmatic requirements for classified information and controlled environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a closely related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of professional engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ software development for fielded systems and legacy codebases.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting, data processing, analysis, and automation.
  • Working experience in Linux and Windows development and test environments.
  • Familiarity with radar and RF engineering concepts, measurement techniques, and terminology.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Preferred experience with embedded software development and real-time systems.
  • Preferred experience using GitLab for version control, CI/CD, and test automation.
  • Preferred experience with NumPy, SciPy, data visualization, and laboratory data formats such as HDF5 and binary.
  • Prior experience on U.S. Navy or other military programs is preferred.
  • A master’s degree in an engineering discipline is preferred.
