Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Kotlin-based Android applications, frameworks, and SDKs.
- Deliver new features, enhancements, and bug fixes at a high velocity.
- Leverage test-driven development principles to maximize code quality.
- Participate in code reviews to contribute to code quality.
- Author design documentation, technical specifications, and delivery plans.
- Embrace and refine team coding standards and processes.
- Track and leverage new Android technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX Design and product.
- Provide technical leadership within the engineering organization.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in computer science or related field.
- Extensive understanding of Android OS and AOSP app optimization.
- Exceptional software development skills with Kotlin, Java, and Android Studio.
- Extensive knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
- 5+ years of Android application software development experience.
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to provide and receive guidance.
- Effective problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach.
