Base Salary
$140k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop features that integrate Cribl’s data stream processing engine with various data systems.
- Rapidly gain expertise in third-party technologies to facilitate research and development.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain clear and robust code.
- Develop expert knowledge of software development using NodeJS and TypeScript.
- Create robust test plans and automated tests to ensure product features work as expected.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to implement feature specifications.
- Provide feedback on feature design and participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to a weekly 24/7 support on-call rotation.
- Take initiative to help the team beyond your job description.
- Engage with the community through documentation and blogs related to the products.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience integrating with third-party applications, libraries, and APIs.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
- Experience with using and developing REST APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with authorization and authentication standards like Oauth2 and SAML is a plus.
- Comfort with significant research and discovery before coding.
- Ability to build robust systems in uncertain environments.
- Experience with Agile processes and rapid iterative development.
- Strong sense of ownership focused on high-quality deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical topics to diverse audiences.
- Insatiable curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies.
