Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software for backend systems and APIs for data ingestion, processing, and routing.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain clear and robust code.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to translate specifications into code.
- Create test plans and automated tests to ensure product features work as expected.
- Take end-to-end ownership of the software developed and participate in on-call support.
- Initiate efforts to help the team achieve desired outcomes beyond your job description.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and basic networking concepts.
- Experience building products that leverage large scale data sets using Node.js/Typescript.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and scalability principles.
- Familiarity with systems level debugging, networking, and performance tuning.
- Ability to learn new technologies and troubleshoot complex problems.
- Experience with Agile processes and rapid iterative development.
- Strong sense of ownership focused on high quality deliverables.
- Experience developing software for cloud-based platforms.
- Must comply with U.S. government security requirements for FedRAMP-authorized systems.
