Base Salary
$165k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve self-service connectivity abstractions.
- Own service identity and trust with broad coverage.
- Engineer resilient traffic paths and harden them via chaos tests.
- Establish observability standards for end-to-end request paths.
- Provide approachable documentation and diagnostics.
- Optimize performance and cost metrics.
- Apply threat and abuse modeling to connectivity surfaces.
- Steward lifecycle and adoption of network resources.
- Mentor engineers and partner with DevX teams.
- Maintain network-related infrastructure within EKS.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 8+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, TypeScript, Python, Java).
- Solid grounding in cloud and Kubernetes networking.
- Practical knowledge of service trust and identity.
- Understanding of traffic resilience and performance.
- Experience with developer connectivity abstractions.
- Competence in observability and SLOs.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and delivery.
- Operational experience with chaos/fault injection.
- Ability to communicate and mentor on networking and identity.

- Base salary range of $165,000 - $215,000 plus equity.
