Responsibilities
- Solve problems within existing pipelines with simple and robust solutions.
- Plan, configure, and deploy various open source and proprietary services on Linux and Windows.
- Support build release and patching pipeline, build deployment tool suite, and code integration utilities.
- Upgrade, evolve, and maintain existing infrastructure, including Jenkins server configurations.
- Interface with team members to resolve simple and complex problems.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure a broad understanding of approaches and solutions.
- Write clear, maintainable, portable, and highly functional scripts and code.
- Test and document work produced.
- Create and manage complex build branching schemes.
- Implement and maintain effective reporting systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Very strong Linux System Administration skills.
- Familiarity with Windows system administration.
- Experience with AWS and on-premises deployments.
- Proficient in Docker, Git, Perforce, Jira, REST APIs, Python, C++, Qt, PowerShell, Puppet, and automated testing structures.
- Enthusiasm and initiative.
- Personable with a 'can help' attitude.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Commitment to code quality, documentation, and sound testing procedures.
