Base Salary
$170k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement scalable software solutions across the full stack.
- Prototype and develop web applications using Python, TypeScript/React, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.
- Build and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and database management systems.
- Lead projects, guide technical direction, and provide systems design expertise for complex initiatives.
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and software engineering best practices.
- Partner with Product, Design, Customer Success, and Sales to deliver customer-focused features.
- Mentor junior engineers and help raise the team’s technical standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Python, TypeScript/React, and PostgreSQL.
- Deep knowledge of Python and modern web frameworks such as FastAPI.
- Frontend experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and web components.
- Strong systems design skills and understanding of scalable architecture and tradeoffs.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of ORMs and their tradeoffs.
- Strong product sense, prioritization skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, operate in ambiguity, prototype ideas, and make technical decisions.
- Experience with analytics tools or health tech is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS offerings including EC2, S3, and RDS is a plus.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog is a plus.
- Active participation in design and product discussions is a plus.
