Responsibilities
- Execute automation scripts to verify Layer 2/Layer 3 functionality, device performance, and security.
- Develop new automated test cases according to test plans.
- Perform functional testing according to test plans.
- Set up and maintain automation test beds.
- Report issues found during automated or manual testing.
- Learn and understand the functions and features of the products under test.
- Develop and modify automation test scripts.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in networking product testing and automation.
- Testing experience with Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols, TCP/IP, NAT, Firewall, IGMPv2/v3, NTP, DNS, FTP, HTTPS, 802.1x, QoS, and SNMP.
- Familiarity with Ethernet switches, routers, and access points.
- Familiarity with traffic generators such as Ixia and Spirent.
- Experience developing automation scripts for Layer 2/Layer 3 switches is preferred.
- Experience with Java or Python programming is preferred.
- Experience developing automated testing frameworks with Selenium, Robot, or similar tools is preferred.
