Responsibilities
- Execute automation testing scripts to verify layer2/layer3 functionality, device performance, and security.
- Develop new automation test cases per the test plan.
- Perform functional testing per the test plan.
- Set up and maintain automation test beds.
- Report issues while executing automation scripts or manual test cases.
- Learn and understand the functions/features of the product being tested.
- Develop and modify automation test scripts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in networking product testing and automation.
- Testing experience in L2/L3 protocol, TCP/IP, NAT & Firewall, IGMPv2/v3, NTP, DNS, FTP, HTTPS, 802.1x, QoS, SNMP.
- Familiarity with networking devices such as ethernet switches, routers, and access points.
- Experience with traffic generators such as Ixia and Spirent.
- Preferred experience in automation script development for Layer2/Layer3 switch.
- Preferred experience with Java/Python programming.
- Preferred experience with Selenium/Robot or other automated testing frameworks.
