Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect on-device and cloud-processing trade-offs for privacy and performance.
- Design and implement federated learning and differential privacy techniques for hybrid AI architectures.
- Develop evaluation frameworks for model quality, safety, bias, hallucinations, and trust metrics.
- Build observability and monitoring systems for AI performance and customer trust.
- Implement WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 compliance across voice, visual, and multimodal AI interfaces.
- Create explainable-AI interfaces, transparency controls, privacy dashboards, and consent-management frameworks.
- Write maintainable software, establish engineering best practices, and make technical decisions that prioritize customer trust.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of object-oriented design experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
