Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy applications powered by LLMs using prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and basic agentic workflows.
- Implement Model Context Protocol connections between AI models, data sources, and tools.
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server queries, views, and schemas.
- Use autonomous AI software engineering tools to accelerate development, write tests, and streamline workflows.
- Perform integration work and L3 support for more than 20 vendor applications supporting tax reporting, tax diligence, and tax withholding.
- Deploy and integrate vendor tax applications with Citi applications, primarily through API communication.
- Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, planning, application development, model development, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Monitor development phases and analyze complex application, business-process, and system issues.
- Recommend security measures, consult with users and technology groups, and support business users.
- Define operating standards and processes and coach newer analysts.
- Assess technology risk, compliance, and control issues while operating with limited direct supervision.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience integrating enterprise LLMs such as OpenAI GPT or Anthropic Claude through APIs using LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Understanding of or direct experience implementing Model Context Protocol.
- 2–5 years of backend API architecture, data validation, and security protocol experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, relational database design, and query performance tuning.
- Experience with application integrations and systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with Devin or similar autonomous coding platforms.
- Preferred experience with C# and .NET Core or .NET 8+.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure and basic CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions and Docker is preferred.
- JIRA experience is a plus.

- Full-time position.
- Primary location full-time salary range is $94,300.00–$141,500.00.
