Responsibilities
- Develop React components.
- Design and improve the UI of Tailor Platform.
- Analyze client application requirements and design and modularize UI components.
- Develop an efficient framework for building applications and use it to construct customer applications.
- Potentially contribute to backend development depending on interests and skills.
- Participate in team-based product development with the same commitment as regular employees when engaged as an outsourced contractor.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a frontend engineer.
- Development experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Experience with standardization and open-source product development or OSS activities.
- Experience leading a team technically as a Tech Lead or lead engineer.
- Experience as an Individual Contributor and specialist.
- Ability to work remotely.
- Japanese written and verbal communication skills at approximately JLPT N2 level are required in the English-language requirements; English written communication may be needed depending on the assignment but is not a knockout requirement.
- Strong alignment with Tailor’s mission.
- Backend development experience using Go and other microservices-related technologies is preferred.
- Business English is preferred.
- Strong Japanese written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
