Responsibilities
- Build and evolve a high-scale React Native application for AI-powered shopping experiences across multiple brands.
- Integrate LLM-powered features on devices while accounting for latency, cost, non-determinism, and graceful degradation.
- Own features end to end from RFC through rollout using feature flags, analytics, and A/B tests.
- Work with GraphQL and Apollo Federation APIs while owning application reliability and performance.
- Help shape mobile architecture and lead medium-to-large technical initiatives.
- Collaborate with backend, AI, product, and design teams and maintain code quality through reviews and testing.
Requirements
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript, ideally including React Native; experienced React web engineers are encouraged to apply.
- Experience shipping consumer applications at scale, with knowledge of state management, navigation, and performance.
- Daily hands-on use of AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot and interest in production GenAI features.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, code review, and pre-release checks.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred: production LLM integration, native iOS with Swift or Android with Kotlin, multi-market feature flags, A/B testing tools, and search or recommendation systems.
