Responsibilities
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test strategies covering positive, negative, and edge cases.
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests for web, Android mobile, and API applications.
- Build, maintain, scale, and improve automation frameworks and test suites.
- Write clean, readable, maintainable automation code and participate in code reviews.
- Integrate and maintain automation suites within CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and manage automated build, test, and deployment environments.
- Work with deployment teams to resolve system issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Identify automation opportunities and take ownership of assigned features or modules.
Requirements
- Three to five years of overall software testing experience with a strong focus on automation for mid- to senior-level candidates.
- Hands-on web, mobile, and API automation experience using Selenium, Appium, and REST-based tools.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with WebdriverIO and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, including framework improvements.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC and experience in Agile development environments.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience maintaining and scaling automation suites for stable and reliable test execution.
- A formal degree in Computer Science is preferred; demonstrable skills and experience are also valued for junior candidates.
