Responsibilities

Estimate and prioritize testing work within sprints.
Review test cases, TestRail reports, automation scripts, bugs across environments, and RFCs.
Set and track quality metrics in collaboration with engineering leadership.
Apply quality practices and testing techniques to raise the quality bar.
Promote automation skills and an automation-first testing approach.
Perform hands-on testing of one or more features.
Participate in Scrum events and tribe-level OKR discussions.
Set squad-specific OKRs based on tribe OKRs.
Hold regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports and their leader.

Deep expertise with modern automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
Experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
Experience testing microservices architectures hosted on AWS, Alicloud, or GCP.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
Experience integrating automated test suites into GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins pipelines.
Strong command of RESTful API testing and performance or load testing tools such as JMeter, Locust, or k6.
Knowledge of SQL and MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Problem-solving ability and a proactive, vigilant, responsible, and collaborative approach.
