Responsibilities
- Advocate for product quality while collaborating with software engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Design and deliver risk-based test plans using scenario, exploratory, scripted, manual, and automated testing methods.
- Help ensure releases meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Identify coverage gaps, automate repetitive tasks, and build regression test coverage through existing or new infrastructure.
- Provide feedback on new functionality, features, and process changes.
- Discover and prevent corner-case defects.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of software development or test framework development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as JavaScript, Java, or Python.
- Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on automation framework development experience with tools such as TestNG, Cypress, Selenium, Rest Assured, Cucumber, or Jest.
- Expertise in test-driven development and automated unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, curiosity, self-direction, and willingness to improve existing practices.
