Responsibilities
- Design and deliver risk-based test plans for new features and functionality using appropriate testing methods.
- Build, maintain, and scale automated test scripts and frameworks for faster and more reliable execution.
- Pair with software engineers to identify coverage gaps, automate repeated tasks, and build regression test coverage.
- Advocate for product quality and collaborate with software engineers, designers, and product managers on releases.
- Provide feedback on new functionality, features, and process changes while uncovering or preventing corner-case defects.
- Help ensure releases meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of software development or test framework development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as JavaScript, Java, or Python.
- Familiarity with infrastructure tools and AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on experience developing automation frameworks using tools such as TestNG, Cypress, Selenium, Rest Assured, Cucumber, or Jest.
- Expertise in test-driven development and multiple levels of automated testing, including unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Strong attention to detail, curiosity, self-direction, willingness to improve existing practices, and clear technical communication skills.
