Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, write, test, debug, and maintain software individually and as part of a team.
- Develop containerized solutions for cloud-based flight service and air traffic systems.
- Write and execute unit and functional tests.
- Troubleshoot and help resolve technical issues in laboratory and operational environments.
- Support systems engineering, test engineering, and system owner teams.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, Release Planning, and related Agile team activities.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, product delivery, and DevSecOps teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 2–6 years of experience.
- Significant experience with Java, React, JUnit, Mockito, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML, XSD, Linux, cloud-based systems, version control, and development tools or IDEs.
- Experience with Git or Subversion and IDEs such as Eclipse or VS Code.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
- Ability to obtain an SF-85 Public Trust suitability determination.
- Knowledge of Agile/SAFe practices, Python, Ansible playbooks, YAML, Linux shell scripting, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, MongoDB, or air traffic control and flight services is preferred.
