Responsibilities
- Participate in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs.
- Identify and define system enhancements using application-development procedures, script tools, and code analysis.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Install and support customer-facing application systems.
- Design application solutions based on programming specifications.
- Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues and conduct testing and debugging.
- Identify problems, evaluate information, and implement solutions with limited direct supervision.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks and escalate, manage, and report control issues in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Develop and integrate NetSuite solutions for payment-domain applications.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in application development.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience as a NetSuite consultant in the payments domain.
- Proficiency with SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, SuiteQL, SuiteBundler, and SuiteBuilder.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SuiteTalk SOAP/REST, CSV integration, and JSON payload design.
- Understanding of the Finance module and Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Strong command of SuiteScript, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or changing requirements.
