Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop enterprise database lifecycle-management software.
- Build efficient, flexible, scalable, and robust software systems and components.
- Design innovative, high-performance solutions based on customer use cases across multiple database technologies.
- Define intuitive and easy-to-use product functionality.
- Collaborate with development, test, documentation, and product management teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Use a methodical approach to create future-ready and scalable designs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building microservice-based control planes for cloud-native applications containerized with Docker and orchestrated on Kubernetes.
- Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, cloud SaaS, and cloud-native applications.
- Strong programming ability in one or more of Java, Python, or Go, with the ability to write efficient, high-quality code.
- Experience with object-oriented concepts and design.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field and 2–4 years of experience.
- Experience with REST APIs, Java Web Services, scalable systems, security, or RBAC is a plus.
- Experience with Linux systems, SAN/NAS/HCI storage, and virtualization is nice to have.
- Strong communication skills, self-direction, ownership, and enthusiasm for programming.
