Base Salary
$106k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve backend services for job fulfillment.
- Help retire legacy systems and migrate traffic to modern platforms.
- Improve job matching and ranking for Taskers.
- Decompose legacy components into independent, API-first services.
- Design and consume well-structured APIs.
- Own work end-to-end, including design docs, code reviews, and testing.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in building and operating backend services.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Node.js, Ruby, Python, Java, or Go.
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills in complex systems.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD tools.
