Base Salary
$157k - $199k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and maintain fault-tolerant infrastructure for GraphQL runtime platforms in Rust.
- Operate and improve durable, stable public APIs for demanding GraphQL workloads.
- Engage with users to understand their needs and debug issues.
- Design scalable, observable systems that integrate into customer infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineers across teams through constructive communication.
- Mentor teammates in writing idiomatic Rust code and architecting solutions.
- Lead architectural discussions and cross-team initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive technical designs and documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotations for mission-critical systems.
Requirements
- Experience with Rust and writing performant, maintainable code.
- Expertise in systems engineering, including stateless and fault-tolerant systems.
- Strong cross-team collaboration skills with a positive influence on others.
- Passion for GraphQL and modern developer tooling.
