Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery with strategic partners and translate business, user, and technical needs into integration requirements and options.
- Scope SDK and API integration projects, including estimates, milestones, risks, constraints, and dependencies.
- Design and document integration solutions involving SDKs, APIs, web components, authentication flows, and federated token exchange.
- Guide partner engineering teams through proofs of concept, pilots, evaluations, installation, API consumption, error handling, observability, and performance considerations.
- Provide architectural leadership for mobile, hybrid, and cross-platform integrations.
- Design and validate identity, authentication, and authorization flows with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent partner technical and product needs internally and influence product roadmaps and prioritization.
- Present embedded capabilities to executives, product leaders, architects, and development teams.
- Create solution designs, sequence diagrams, reference architectures, code samples, and integration playbooks.
- Support RFP/RFI responses and coordinate with Legal, Security, Product, and Engineering.
- Provide technical oversight during early implementation and identify risks and expansion opportunities.
- Contribute to sales-engineering enablement and travel as needed for partner workshops, events, and integration sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, cybersecurity, identity protection, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–10 years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, technical consulting, or product management, including at least 3 years in a senior customer- or partner-facing technical capacity.
- Experience designing and delivering embedded solutions using SDKs and APIs, preferably in B2B2C or platform and partner ecosystems.
- Strong experience with requirements gathering, product scoping, solution definition, integration specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Hands-on familiarity with integration patterns, webhooks, SDK integrations, single-page applications, and secure authentication flows.
- Experience working with or alongside mobile development teams; Kotlin Multiplatform, Xcode/Swift, Android Studio, and modern JavaScript stacks are preferred.
- Understanding of identity platforms, OIDC/OAuth2, SAML, SSO, and federated token exchange.
- Ability to lead technical discovery workshops and convert stakeholder input into actionable technical and product requirements.
- Experience supporting B2C or B2B2C partnerships, ideally with financial institutions, telecommunications companies, OEMs, or large consumer service providers.
- Strong project, stakeholder management, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Successful customer- or client-facing experience building trusted relationships and delivering technical and business outcomes.
- Experience in financial services, identity theft protection, anti-scam, or fraud-prevention platforms is beneficial.
