Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain containerized microservices and backend web applications using Python and Django REST Framework.
- Develop workflow engines and state machines for approval processes, billing calculations, and financial validation logic.
- Model, optimize, and maintain relational database schemas for data integrity and auditability.
- Implement background task processing, scheduling, data ingestion, and third-party API integrations.
- Implement role-based access control and secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Maintain containerized development environments and support automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Assist with supporting and maintaining complementary applications across different technology stacks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or another technically related field.
- Security+ Continuing Education certification from CompTIA.
- Existing DoW Secret Clearance; only applicants who possess the clearance will be considered.
- Experience or proficiency with Python, Django, SQL, Docker, and Docker Compose is listed in the posting.
- Preferred technologies include Git, GitLab, AWS GovCloud, Ansible, Ruby on Rails, PHP, Laravel, and Linux.
