Base Salary
$185k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures and guardrails.
- Own IAM security, including access controls and least-privilege policies.
- Build and scale cloud security infrastructure for logging and monitoring.
- Harden CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code with security automation.
- Monitor cloud security signals and investigate security alerts.
- Lead incident response for cloud security events.
- Conduct cloud security assessments and threat modeling.
- Support compliance requirements and security controls.
- Build security tooling and automations in code.
- Write and maintain scripts and integrations for security operations.
- Partner with engineers to identify security risks early.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security architectures and compliance requirements.
- Expertise in securing public cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Solid understanding of container security and network security.
- Experience with core security capabilities such as logging and vulnerability management.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong software engineering and scripting skills in languages like Python or Go.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and application code review.
- Comfortable using APIs and automation frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
